Our ministries are designed to help people grow spiritually, build meaningful relationships, and make a lasting impact in our church and community. Sis. Jaclyn Lewis
Coordinator: Administrative Team
Mission: Support the vision of City of Refuge through effective organization, communication, and administrative excellence.
What We Do: Coordinates church communications, maintains membership records and calendars, updates the website and social media, supports church events, and assists with administrative operations.
Missionary Sonia Lewis
Coordinator: Altar Workers
Mission: Lead people into a deeper encounter with Christ through prayer, compassion, and spiritual care.
What We Do: Ministers at the altar through prayer, counseling, intercession, and assisting individuals seeking salvation, healing, or the Holy Spirit.
Bishop Travell Travis
Coordinator: Christian Education
Mission: Equip believers to grow in biblical knowledge, spiritual maturity, and Christian discipleship.
What We Do: Develops and coordinates Bible studies, discipleship classes, leadership training, and educational resources for all ages.

Coordinator: Culinary Team
Mission: Demonstrate Christ’s love through hospitality by providing meals that nourish both body and fellowship.
What We Do: Plans, prepares, and serves food for church services, fellowships, outreach events, and special occasions.
Deacon Calvin Mason
Coordinator: Diaconate Ministry
Mission: Serve the congregation by meeting practical needs while supporting the spiritual ministry of the church.
What We Do: Assists with worship services, Holy Communion, baptisms, visitation, altar ministry, church maintenance, and member care.

Coordinator: Evangelism Outreach
Mission: Share the Gospel while meeting the spiritual and practical needs of our community.
What We Do: Organizes evangelism efforts, community outreach events, service projects, and initiatives that connect people with Christ and the church.
Deacon Calvin Mason
Coordinator: Finance Team
Mission: Honor God through faithful stewardship, financial accountability, and transparent management of church resources.
What We Do: Oversees offerings, budgeting, financial reporting, payroll records, tax statements, banking, and financial administration.

Mission: Promote healthy living by ministering to the mind, body, and spirit.
What We Do: Provides health education, wellness initiatives, screenings, and community health resources that encourage healthy lifestyles.

Mission: Create a welcoming atmosphere where every person experiences the love of Christ.
What We Do: Greets members and guests, assists visitors, maintains order during worship, and helps every guest feel welcomed and valued.

Kid’s Academy
Mission: Help children discover God’s love through engaging biblical teaching and Christ-centered relationships.
What We Do: Provides Bible lessons, discipleship, activities, and a safe, fun learning environment where children grow in faith, character, and their understanding of God’s purpose for their lives.

Mission: Glorify God through worship expressed with movement, dance, and creative praise.
What We Do: Ministers through liturgical dance during worship services, conferences, and special church celebrations.
Dr. Sherina Travis
Coordinator: Media Team
Mission: Use creative communication to share the Gospel and connect people with the ministry of City of Refuge.
What We Do: Produces digital content, photography, videos, graphics, social media, and promotional materials for church ministries and events.
Dr. Allen Lewis
Coordinator: Music Ministry
Mission: Lead the congregation into the presence of God through excellence in worship and praise.
What We Do: Coordinates worship services, rehearsals, vocal teams, and worship planning while cultivating an atmosphere that honors God and prepares hearts for His Word.

Mission: Glorify God through musical excellence by using God-given gifts to support worship and lead the congregation into His presence.
What We Do: Serve alongside the Music Ministry by providing instrumental accompaniment during worship services, rehearsals, conferences, and special events. Musicians work together to create an atmosphere that encourages authentic worship while supporting the vision and direction of the worship ministry.

Men of Valor
Mission: Develop godly men who lead with integrity, serve with humility, and influence their families, church, workplace, and community for Christ.
What We Do: Equips men through Bible study, discipleship, fellowship, mentorship, outreach, and service opportunities that strengthen spiritual leadership and encourage men to fulfill their God-given purpose.

What We Do: Support the spiritual ministry of the church through visitation, altar ministry, assisting with baptisms and Holy Communion, caring for those who are sick or in need, community outreach, prayer, and helping meet both spiritual and practical needs.

Mission: Support life-changing worship experiences through excellence in audio, video, and livestream production.
What We Do: Operates sound, cameras, livestream equipment, presentation software, and technical systems for church services and events.
Minister Bradley Anderson
Coordinator: Security Team
Mission: Provide a safe and secure environment where people can worship with confidence and peace.
What We Do: Monitors church property, responds to emergencies, develops safety procedures, and protects members, guests, and facilities.

Coordinator: Shepherd's Care
Mission: Encourage and support the pastoral family as they faithfully serve the congregation.
What We Do: Coordinates pastoral appreciation events, provides encouragement and practical support, and assists with special pastoral needs.

What We Do: Cleans and maintains church facilities, ensuring the building is prepared for worship services and ministry activities.

Mission: Remove transportation barriers so everyone has the opportunity to worship and participate in ministry.
What We Do: Coordinates transportation for members, guests, and ministry events while assisting those needing travel assistance.
